Silhouette Dance Academy - SDA

Silhouette Dance Academy - SDA Classes in commercial, contemporary, jazz, heels, acro, gymnastics and tumbling! We have also took part in a mass movement project at Silverstone at the F1.

Silhouette Dance Academy is a newly established school with a bright and promising future. My enthusiasm for teaching will be reflected in the classes to make them fun and beneficial. SDA focus on performances and guarantee that all students are offered the same opportunities. I believe performances gain so much for children not only for experience but for confidence. Performances happen most terms at Shenstone Village Hall and we take part annually in local events such as Gotta Dance at the Lichfield Garrick, Lichfield Festival and the Fuse Festival. BIGGER opportunities are now in place performing with organisations such as Stafford Sports, Bobby Dazzlers and Chance2Dance where we've performed and the Lichfield Garrick, The Shaftesbury Theatre, the Birmingham Hippodrome Blackpool Opera House, Her Majesty's Theatre and at the 02 Arena. SDA run classes weekly in gymnastics and acrobatics, commercial, jazz, contemporary, tap and take pupils from the age of 2 1/2. Classes are held at:

SDA offer workshops during half terms and during the 6 week summer holidays. During these workshops we do many styles of dance and gymnastics and even do a spot of singing and drama work. Dance and gymnastic parties are available and are customized to suite your needs. Previous themes have been Princess and Pirates, High School Musical, Disney and Little Mix. SDA are famous for their Frozen Experience parties where Elsa, Anna and Olaf run a 2 hour party taking care of all children entertainment. Other characters are now available including Cinderella, Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel and Tinkerbell. For the boys superheros are available including Spider-man and Batman. Oh and I have a cheeky Minion Mascot too! We now have a 13m tumble track! The best aid for gymnastics skills! Used in our gymnastics classes and tumble classes and also is available for tumble track parties. Miss Becky is also hired for her choreography and increasingly more than ever for the happy couples first dance. For more information on SDA please get in touch today!

✨ What a first week back at SDA! ✨

It has been SO lovely seeing everyone back in the studio again! 🥰 Seeing all your familiar faces, hearing the chatter, catching up on everyone’s summer adventures… and, of course, realising just how much everyone has grown! 💕

In fact, Miss Becky is now officially shorter than MORE of you than she is taller than! 😂🙈 I’m not sure whether to be proud or offended! 🤣

And what a week it has been…

🌟 We’ve welcomed 12 brand new students to SDA!
🌟 Introduced our new teacher and her classes!
🌟 And had an absolutely amazing response to our brand new Adult Fitness class! 💪🏼🔥

To every single one of you who has returned to us, and to those who have chosen to join our SDA family for the first time, thank you 💜

Thank you for trusting us, supporting us and allowing us to be part of your child’s journey. I truly hope that for so many of our students, these are just the first steps of many, many more years filled with classes, friendships, shows, events, laughter, challenges and achievements.

Most importantly, I hope they continue to grow, not just in their dance and gymnastics abilities, but in confidence, resilience, self-belief and friendships too. Watching them develop, flourish and become the amazing young people they are is one of the greatest privileges of what we do. 🥹❤️
