A superb unbeaten 40* (22) from Elliot Dowen set the platform, with Jacob Niven chipping in with 1/1. 🔥

✅ U10s at Whittington Stormers — WON by 3 runs
Lichfield 65/2 (net 85) | Whittington 72/4 (net 82)
Nail-biting stuff! Joey Clough was the star with 13 runs AND 2/5 with the ball. 🌟

✅ U15s at Hilton Hurricanes — WON by 17 runs
Lichfield 135/5 (20) | Hilton 118/7 (20)
Joseph Mayou top-scored with 40 (33), before Ben Pegge took a brilliant 3/21 to seal it. 💯

❌ U13s vs Yoxall — Lost by 9 runs
Lichfield 123/8 (20) | Yoxall 132/7 (20)
So close! Muhammad Raza blazed 26 off just 13 balls, and Jack Turley-Salmons took 2/8. Heads up, lads — a great effort. 👏

Two wins from two for the Lichfield sides, and a tough afternoon for our friends at Wall. 🔴💙

💙 Wall CC 1st XI — at Stafford

Lost by 125 runs. A tough day, but Maroof Khan led from the front with 2/38 and a top score of 22, with Chris Boyson (2/48) also among the wickets. 🔵

✅ 2nd XI — vs Penkridge 2nd XI 🏠
Penkridge 135/8 | Lichfield 136/6
Won by 4 wickets! 🔥 A disciplined bowling display led by Harry Dowen (2/12), with the wickets shared across the bowlers. Callum Rubisch then top-scored with 30, and Caddick (22*) saw it home.

✅ 3rd XI — vs Stafford 3rd XI 🏠
Stafford 143 ao | Lichfield 144/3
Won by 7 wickets! 💯 Dan Buchanan (3/24) led the bowlers, with Joseph Mayou (2/15) and Matthew Quanson (2/25) finishing the job. Then Suleman Anser took over — a superb 75 off 50 balls to blaze the chase, supported by Richard Cust (23) and Faisal Javed (22).

Two out of three on the day — well played, lads! 👏

A mixed afternoon across the senior sides. 🔴

❌ 1st XI — at Rugeley
Lichfield 194 ao | Rugeley 195/7
Lost by 3 wickets — heartbreakingly close. Ihsaan Nadeem led the way with 58 (65), backed by Tom Clarke 34 (28) and Nivraj Virk 21 (30). With the ball, Ed Turner (3/31) and Tom Clarke (3/72) kept us right in it to the last.

✅ 2nd XI — vs Wightwick & Finchfield 2nd XI 🏠
Lichfield 275/5 | W&F 244/8
Won by 31 runs! 💯🔥 A magnificent CENTURY from Ricky Kotian — 127 (121) anchored a huge total, with Mohammed Serfraz 43* (41) and James Badger 33 (51) chipping in. Harry Dowen then took 3/59 and Serfraz 2/32 to seal it. Superb all-round performance.

Lost by 327 runs. A tough day at the office. Rajneesh Bankenahally top-scored with 19, with Ben Rolfe 18 and Kaushik Irvathraya 14.
