We're looking for enthusiastic, football loving girls to join our brand-new U9 football team for the upcoming season!

All abilities welcome.

⚽ FREE U7 FOOTBALL SESSIONS – JOIN AN AWARD-WINNING CLUB! ⚽

As we finalise our Under-7 teams for September, we're inviting children to come along and enjoy our FREE football sessions over the summer.

📍 New Leisure Centre, Lichfield�⏰ 10:00am to 11:00am Saturday mornings
🏆 Staffordshire FA Club of the Year�⭐ FA 3-Star Accredited Club

Our sessions are open to all abilities and provide a fun, safe and supportive environment for young players to develop skills, build confidence, make friends and enjoy football.

✅ Who can join? • Children in Year 1 from September 2026�• Players who are 6 years old on or before 31st August can register and play matches from the start of the September season.
�• Children who turn 6 after 31st August and before 31st December 2026 are welcome to train with the U7 group and can register to play matches from their 6th birthday onwards.

Whether your child is completely new to football or already loves the game, now is the perfect time to get involved as we complete our squads for the upcoming season.

🎉 Exciting News – Netball & Pickleball! 🎉

We've had a fantastic response to our new netball club! Our aim is to create a friendly, welcoming club for all ages and abilities, with fun social sessions starting after the summer holidays. Whether you're looking to play competitively, keep active, learn new skills, or simply meet new people, there'll be something for girls and boys, women and men.

We're also exploring interest in starting a Pickleball Club!🏓

Pickleball is a fun, social sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It's easy to learn, suitable for all abilities, and can be as relaxed or competitive as you want it to be.

We're hoping both clubs will become a great way for the community to get together, stay active, make friends and enjoy some social time along the way.

A lovely morning for AFC Fradley Comets with a season ending combined session and matches with Uttoxeter Town Pan disability. The kids enjoyed some variations of stuck in the mud and body parts before enjoying a 3 a side mini World Cup and big match!

Exciting News for Fradley and the Surrounding Areas!

Following the incredible success of AFC Fradley, which has grown to support more than 600 footballers every week, recently recognised as Staffordshire FA Club of the Year and achieved FA 3-Star Accreditation, in just four years, we're delighted to announce the launch of the Fradley Community Sports Foundation.

The Foundation has been created to build on the success of the football club and bring even more sporting opportunities to our community.

Our vision is to make Fradley and the surrounding areas one of the leading places in the country for accessible, inclusive community sport.

The Foundation is a registered charity, and every project we launch will be focused on delivering real, lasting benefit to local people.

Our first major project is already underway, and we're aiming to launch a brand-new Netball Club before the end of the year. This is just the beginning, with plans to develop opportunities across a range of sports for children, adults, women, girls, disabled participants and those who may otherwise struggle to access sport.

The Foundation will focus on:

⚽ Supporting the continued growth of AFC Fradley as we pursue our vision of becoming the best grassroots football club in the country

🏐 Launching Fradley Netball Club and expanding opportunities into other sports

❤️ Creating inclusive opportunities for everyone, regardless of age, ability or background

🤝 Bringing people together and improving health and wellbeing through sport across Fradley and the surrounding area

🏟️ Developing sustainable community sports facilities that will benefit future generations

This is an exciting new chapter for our community, and we'd love local residents, volunteers, coaches, businesses and supporters — from Fradley and the surrounding areas — to be part of it.

Together, we're building something that will benefit Fradley and the wider community for generations to come.
