It’s taken me a while to write this post and I’m still not sure I’ll be able to articulate myself, but try I will…….
Two weeks ago we competed at one of our favourite dance competitions emotion Dance Competition.
When I saw the running order, I won’t lie, I was nervous.
I knew the standard was going to be high when we were competing against so many elite level dance schools. I had prepared our dancers to not be disappointed with their results. So to be awarded the coveted “Overall Dance School Award”, left me speechless (and we know that rarely happens from me!) Not only does this mean so much to me, my team of teachers, our pupils and parents, but to recognised by judges that I respect and look up to and organisers that I value in such high regard means everything (I feel like this is an Oscar recipient Speech, but to me it is.)
We competed against so many phenomenal dance schools that I admire and feel inspired by and for our dances to hold their own and stand out is so incredibly rewarding.
Our small but mighty school in a small village in Kent, we did it and I’m so proud of you all.
A huge thank you to as well as and , there will never be enough words to humbly show our gratitude.

Lastly but by no means least, I hope my teachers know how much I value them, but I want to thank for their choreography and to for all of her help in class. You’re all so talented and this trophy is recognition of all your hard work.
I’m still on Cloud 9.
