⚽️ East Fife v St Andrews Reds ⚽️

It was really warm at Bayview this morning so it took the boys a wee while to get going and lost a few early goals. Some good football at times from both teams. We looked good going forward today and created some great chances. 👍🏻
We got back into our stride after half time and got right back into the game. Kept our heads high and continued to keep going forward. Got caught with a couple of late goals when we were pushing forward for goals ourself.
Onwards and upwards for the boys to next week.

A really good game of football today from both teams.
A really competitive game that was end to end from the start.
We took an early lead from a great strike from Kaylan and held on for a while and looked really good playing with a bit of confidence.
Was a good performance from all the boys today! A few lapses in concentration and mistakes ended up with Rothes goals. A few things to work on in training this week but a good performance today.

A very tough game this weekend for the boys against a team clearly in the wrong tier!

The boys done well to keep going right to the end and can be proud of themselves for that.
Can’t really take too much away from a game like this but we did manage to create a few chances and got a couple of goals too.

Keep the heads up boys and we will go again next week

⚽️East Fife v Auchtermuchty Blues⚽️

First game back after Summer holidays and it was an early start on the hilly pitch at Muchty.
Boys lost 2 quick goals but kept their heads up and got 2 back for half time. Both really well worked goals starting right from the back. Could have scored more. The second half started very similar to the first. Having to fight back from behind. There was some really good football from all the boys today even with some questionable "freekicks" given against us. But proud of the boys for keeping calm and keeping on going right to the end with the disallowed goal in the last minutes. The boys have told me VAR overruled the decision and the goal stands. Good start back from the boys. Keep up the good teamwork. 👍🏻

Block 3 fixtures ⚫️🟡

⚽️ East Fife v AM Soccer ⚽️

The boys were up against an extremely good and well organised AM side last night. We were on the back foot from the off. However the boys never gave up fighting and trying to win the ball back. All we asked is that they all tried their best as it was always going to be a tough game. Proud of the way the held thier heads up. Summer break ahead for the boys.

A very good performance from the boys this weekend which is the last game of this block.
A good confidence booster for a few of them.
The boys did really well defensively against a good attacking team.
The boys showed some great attacking play with the pick of the goals coming from a long range wonder strike from William!
A good performance from all, well done boys keep it going.
