INTRODUCING EMERGENCE ‘27 🤩
First up we have….
Emma Brodie
Emma Brodie
Originally from Scotland, Emma began dancing at the age of 13 at Amber Barclay Academy of Dance where she trained in lyrical, jazz and acrobatics. During this time, she developed a love for performance and competed both nationally and internationally, gaining valuable experience as a young dancer.
At 17, she began her professional training at the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance in 2022. Throughout her four years, she discovered a strong passion for contemporary dance and developed her artistic identity as a performer. During her training she had the opportunity to work with a range of inspiring lecturers and choreographers. Her time at the school has played an important role in shaping her as an artist and dancer, she graduated in 2026 with a BA (Hons) Degree in Contemporary Dance Performance.
She is particularly interested in exploring movement and musicality. She enjoys developing her individuality as a performer and creating meaningful experiences with audiences and the people she performs alongside.
Outside of dance, she enjoys attending music festivals, as well as spending time with friends and family. She values the experiences and connections she creates outside of the studio, which continue to shape her as a person.
Stay tuned to meet the rest of the dancers !
