The upgrade in talent tried to keep those details sharp with the next couple of builds .. the saloon of World Champion #349 Michael Allard, then followed by the Superstox of multi championship #309 Brian Forrest, both needing loads of brain power to complete.

Many changes of months later we see a change of formula too, not one tho but two. Firstly, was the radio controlled ministock of Charlie Hardie, followed by the Brisca F2 of Chris Burgoyne with both requiring an upgrade in talent for different reasons.

And then there were three......we next trundle through history with a trio of the most recognisable saloons of our age..

Blasting back into the infancy of Scalestox the next arrival was the #9 of Tam Rutherford, still remember watching the video of its unveiling 🙂.
Then the saloon of #307 Brian Honeyman, struggled with pictures of this one but found enough to do it justice I think.And Lennon Cuthill #71 and his momento of his time racing around the country in his micro F2.

A throwback to where it all began all those years ago....processes have changed since then, motivation sometimes wain but the enthusiasm doesn't....

A request really.... over the last few years I've had so many requests for models it was getting out of hand, with lists of yes and lists to go onto the yes list.
I've always tried to accommodate where I could but the time it was taking to gather information was distracting me from building the model, so I changed tact and asked that the info required was supplied. I have to do this as there is so much to do and unfortunately I have to move on to the next build if this info isn't forwarded.

So, If you asked for a model please forward as much info as possible, pics, colours, graphics, inside, outside....I'm able to see if you've contacted me before, and when, so I can put things in order, so any places wont be lost and I can get a clarity.

I still can't offer timescales on a finished car but things can move quicker than it has been, thanks

So.....whats happening next, there is always a number of projects on the bench due to glue, paint drying times, dealing with those details and information needed to complete them.
We have an F2 getting those details done after being through paint.
An 80's stockrod going for paint after many an hour creating parts.
Always a saloon lying somewhere tho, another grp chassis being progressed, with a start of another, recognise it?
A kit for our first F1 build, still in the info gathering stage just now but were going to radio controlled this one....because we can ...
A couple of 'my' projects now...a radio controlled F2, now at the stage of getting everything to fit properly, and working of course.
A tigra NHR, some balloon wanted to see an engine in it along with working suspension, again, lots of parts made but still plenty to do.
There's also the builds for those requesting them.

Racing radio controlled stockcars is a pastime here too, both at club and national level, so it's always busy....
