🌊 UPDATE: SWIM SESSIONS & A SPECIAL FAREWELL

Just a quick note to say our evening swims have now come to an end for this season — but don’t worry! Our Saturday morning sessions will continue right through the winter ❄️

🗓 Every Saturday
⏰ 7:30am – 9:30am
We’ll keep going until the elements decide otherwise!

This coming Saturday will also be John’s last session with us before heading off to university to start his next chapter 🎓✨
John has been with us from the very beginning, through every season, quietly watching over everyone from his canoe.

Thank you for everything, John — it's been wonderful to have with us! Wishing you the very best of luck at university, and we hope to see you back with us whenever you’re home on holidays!

Evening all,

The Algae has cleared and the water test is clear so we're good for swimming in the morning.

We have decided to cancel swimming again this evening 18th June.
There are still signs of Alge in the beech area.

We will reassess the water tomorrow evening to make a decision about Saturday.

Swimming is Cancelled for this evening

Sorry for any inconvenience, we have been down to the lake this morning & the water quality is not up to our usual standard.
We will check again for Thursday's session.

The buoys are out ready for the Iron Man on Sunday. Good luck to everyone who is taking part and good luck to our swimmers taking part in other events over the weekend 🏊🏼🏊🏼🚴🏼🚴🏼🏃🏼🏃🏼🥇🥇

We will be swimming as normal in the morning.

If you've lost your goggles today or in the last couple of weeks we have a large collection.
We also have a couple of water bottles & Lycra shorts

🤞🏻 it doesn't rain tomorrow, we don't want to get wet 🤣

Last night's water temperature was 14.8⁰c.
We took a water sample from the swimming area & it tested good for swimming 🎉
