It was as if the lads were playing in the school yard today and having loads of fun.
I started to feel sorry for the opposition who declined the offer to put on an extra player after our goalfest, so I moved the lads into unfamiliar positions.
However the defenders were still scoring and attacking players with slide tackles stopping their attacks and each of them did their best in every position.
Ethan 🏆was MOTM with a super display down the wings scoring for fun and a many brilliant assists and also for doing his best to try and get Yves a goal, who enjoyed his time up front.
Great fun today. Well done everyone ⚽👏🏻

A dominant performance from the lads this morning and great finish from Frank put us ahead after 1minute and they stayed in control from then on.
We set them up in a more defensive structure today with a back 4 consisting of 2 wing backs playing high up the pitch. A midfield 3 and a striker.
This worked so well as they were solid without the ball and quickly moved the ball forward down the wings and playing well through the midfiled 3.
@⁨Dan Herve's Dad⁩ has worked with them at training on switching the play which was good to see them put into practise brilliantly in the match.
Max 🏆 was Dan's MOTM with great dribbling out from the back and calm passing linking up with the midfiled and wing backs to help create the many chances. Topped off his efforts with a thunderous goal the keeper had no chance saving.
Jacks 🏆was my MOTM with his runs up and down the wing stopping their attacks and dribbling past defenders with his new skill with quick feet...loved it 👏 He almost got the goal he deserved with a fine strike just over the bar.
Overall a solid team effort and a well deserved victory ⚽💪

First up, apologies to those who didn’t quite get the game time they deserved. With five substitutes available, there were times when I simply couldn’t make the changes I wanted to.
I cannot fault the fitness, desire, and hard work the kids showed on the pitch today. Every single one of them gave everything.
Even when we went 2–0 down and then 3–1 down, the lads showed incredible character and kept fighting. To find a last-second winner to top off an amazing match was absolutely fantastic!
My Man of the Match was Lewis once again for his unbelievable work behind the midfield, protecting the defence. His volleying, heading, and calm passing out of danger were outstanding.
Dan picked Ethan as his Man of the Match for his desire to get back and win the ball, as well as his ability to drive forward and create chances.
Their goalkeeper put in an amazing performance and almost helped them earn a point, but our desire, determination, and willingness to fight right until the end secured us our first-ever three points!
Well done to the whole team today. That was a tremendous performance, and you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 👏🏻⚽

A tough game to start the season away on astro. I felt we were far from our best today and looked a little nervous and defensive, particularly in the first half.
The lads dropped too deep at times, which made things very crowded at the back and left us with little space to play out and attack. We also found ourselves kicking the ball away rather than keeping possession and playing our football.
The second half was a much more positive performance. We created more chances and started to play with greater confidence. To be fair, if it wasn’t for their keeper and with a little more composure in front of goal, we could have made the game much closer and really got ourselves back into it.
🏆 Lewis was the coaches’ choice for MOTM, putting in a strong performance at centre midfield on his debut. He tackled well, showed good energy and, importantly, looked to make things happen when he had the ball, creating some great opportunities for his teammates.
Not the result or start we wanted, but there were plenty of positives to take from the game and lots for us to learn from. We’ll take those lessons on board, keep working hard and come back stronger. 💪⚽
