Why we stopped Julie from signing up with us. (At first.)
Two months ago, Julie came into the studio having never set foot in a gym before. She was super nervous and very apprehensive about training in a gym, and having never been in one, you could understand why.
The reason she came down to us was that, after a chat with her sister (who trains), her sister kept telling her how good it would be for her, and how important it is, especially as you get older.
Now, here’s the thing. We initially didn’t get Julie to sign up with us.
We could see she really wanted to, but she had a lot of questions and reservations about it, and, to be honest, about us too.
We normally start everyone on our 21-day trial, but we could tell that was too big a commitment this early on. So instead of signing her up, we told her we’d book her in to come back the following week.
That’s it.
No commitment.
No payment.
Just come back again.
The hardest part was done. She’d actually walked through the door for the first time.
(We knew that if she came back, she’d love it, and hopefully us too.)
Fast forward two months, and we’ve even found her rearranging sessions around her holidays so she doesn’t miss anything.
That’s often all it takes. If you’re on the fence like Julie was, drop us a message and we’ll get you booked in.
No commitment, just come and see what we are all about.
We’ve also currently only got one space left in our women’s-only Small Group PT, so if that’s been on your mind, now’s your time 💪🏻
