Our women’s contact squad is still at the beginning of this journey, but every session brings more confidence, more teamwork and more smiles. We’re proud of everyone who’s getting stuck in, supporting each other and embracing the challenge together.

We had an incredible 24 ladies down at training tonight, including six new faces joining us for the first time.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and got involved. It was especially lovely to welcome three ladies from Ivanhoe Cricket Club next door – we hope you enjoyed yourselves and felt right at home!
The session had a bit of everything: fitness, handling skills, a game of T1 Rugby and then some contact work for those who wanted to give it a go. There were plenty of laughs, lots of encouragement and a brilliant atmosphere throughout.
It’s amazing to see our ladies’ section continuing to grow, with new faces giving rugby a try and everyone supporting one another. Thanks to all who came down and made it such an enjoyable session – we can’t wait to do it all again next week!

Our Team Manager took the opportunity to reflect on what has been an incredible year for the Trailblazers, celebrating the achievements, growth, and memories we’ve created together both on and off the pitch.
None of it would have been possible without the perseverance, hard work and enthusiasm of our coaches- Deano and Bri!
As a small token of our appreciation, we were delighted to present them with their gifts at the end of the evening.

Last night was our club Awards Evening, and what a fantastic night it was! 🏆✨
The Women’s Trailblazers turned out in force, making it a truly special evening as we came together to celebrate another incredible season and the people who make our team what it is.
A huge congratulations to our Players’ Player, Nicola, and our Coaches’ Player, Lucy. Both awards are thoroughly deserved and reflect the commitment, hard work, and dedication they have shown throughout the season.
We are incredibly proud of you both and delighted to see your efforts recognised.
Congratulations again to all our award winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make it such a wonderful evening. Here’s to an even bigger and better season ahead!

For the first time in our club’s history, we’re launching a Women’s Contact Team and we’re looking for players to help build something special from the very beginning.
Whether you’re completely new to rugby or have years of experience, this is your chance to be part of the founding squad and help shape the future of women’s rugby at Leicester Forest. With experienced coaches, a welcoming environment, exciting socials and clear pathways for development, there has never been a better time to get involved.
