Knighton Tennis Club was formed in January 2010.
Situated on the site of Sir Jonathan North College, the centre benefits from a partnership with the college. The students take advantage of the fantastic facility for their curriculum tennis and providing players for the clubs teams. Sir Jonathan North College is part of the Lionheart Academy Trust. BEGINNER SESSIONS STARTING ON SATURDAY 8TH NOVEMBER 2025 – 12:30 – 14:30 AT SJNGC SPORTS HALL
Pickleball is played on a badminton-sized court with a lower net, using paddles to hit a plastic ball over the net. The game can be played as singles or doubles and has a unique set of rules, such as the "non-volley zone" (or "kitchen") near the net and a two-bounce rule, which makes it accessible to a wide range of players.
