A huge congratulations to Nottingham Gurkhas on winning both the MNCL 2026 and Gen-Z Nepal Memorial Cup 2026. 🏆🏆 A fantastic achievement and fully deserved! 👏

We’re also incredibly proud of some of our Gurkha Tigers boys who represented Himalayan Cricket Club in Nepal, where they also finished as Runners-Up. 🇳🇵🏏🥈

Seeing our players representing different clubs and continuing to perform at a high level is something we’re extremely proud of. ❤️

For Gurkha Tigers, reaching two finals and lifting the Unity Cup shows the character, determination and togetherness within this team. We came close in two competitions, learned from the experience, and finished the season with silverware! 🏆💪

We may have missed out on two trophies, but the hunger remains. We’ll take the lessons from this season, come back stronger, and keep pushing for more success. 🔥🐯

During recent on-going tragedy Nepal finds herself in, the effort and support shown from all over the world is highly appreciated and such occasion is where we found ourselves in.

Gurkha Tigers would like to extend their appreciation to the Wanza Leicester for their generosity towards the Nepalese community whilst the country mourns during its darkest time and running funding campaigns for the cause.

Such compassion is necessary in uniting and bringing people together and every help provided for Nepal is ensuring that someone is rescued, cared for, fed or attended. This is critical as many Nepalese find themselves without shelter and basic human needs.

The ongoing effort on the ground by all the government delegate’s and Nepalese troops and foreign aid is pivotal for the restoration of the country and we wish that Nepal will recover from this darkest period and rise high once again.

We are profoundly grateful and thrilled to share that the relief funds have now been successfully transferred directly to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund in response to the devastating floods in Nepal.

The sheer scale of human kindness and strength shown during this dark hour has been deeply humbling. The tireless, courageous efforts on the ground are heroic as our nation faces unprecedented waters, leaving countless families stripped of shelter and basic survival. We sincerely hope this contribution brings meaningful relief to the ongoing rescue operations as we stand shoulder-to-shoulder, completely united with Nepal. 🇳🇵
