What a weekend for 1st Legion.

Over 20 of our fighters stepped up and represented the gym at the HSN interclub — from those getting their first taste of competition to the more experienced members leading the way.

Win, lose or draw, every single person did themselves, their teammates and the coaches proud.

But what we're most proud of is the team around them.

The people warming each other up.
Cornering each other.
Cheering from the side.
Sharing the nerves.
Celebrating afterwards.

That's what a fight team should be.

Plenty of lessons learned. Now we take them back into the gym, put them into practice and keep improving together.

🔥 WHAT A NIGHT FOR THE TEAM IN CARDIFF! 🔥

5 fighters.
5 great performances.
4 wins. 2 finishes. 1 huge night for the team. 🥊

Keane — Dominated the exchanges across three rounds, landing heavy hands and chopping low kicks on his way to a unanimous decision win. 👊

Orestis — Controlled the pace and range brilliantly, making great use of his teeps and knees to take another unanimous decision victory. 🇹🇭

Big Mike — Broke his opponent down round by round with some disgusting knees to the body, eventually forcing the stoppage in the later rounds. 💥

Abdul — Blink and you would've missed it. 😮‍💨
A perfectly timed right hand straight down the middle and LIGHTS OUT IN JUST 10 SECONDS. Another KO added to the record. 💣

Nasir — Closed the night with a fast-paced three-round battle against a very tough opponent. A great performance where he pushed the pace throughout, just coming up short on the judges' decision.

Wins are great, but we're even prouder of the way the whole team represented the gym.

Months of rounds, hard sessions, sparring, sacrifices and teammates pushing each other — this is what it's all for.

Back in the gym. Back to work. We keep levelling up together. ⚔️
