Week 6. 🥹🧡

Tonight the energy was just… something else.

These women are no longer nervous about lifting.

They’re asking questions.
They’re asking for MORE.
They’re choosing heavier weights.
They’re pushing themselves.
They’re excited to come and train. 💪

Tonight, some of them lifted the heaviest they’ve ever lifted.

One of my ladies has even joined the gym off her own back and is now going to classes by herself. 🥹

Five weeks ago, confidence in the gym was one of their biggest barriers.

Now look at them.

This is why I created the Embody Collective.

Yes, we’re building stronger bodies… but watching these women build confidence, independence and genuine belief in themselves?

That’s the bit. 🧡

I’m so bloody proud of you all.

And apparently they want more… 😂💪

Week 5 of the Embody Collective 🥹🧡

Not many clips from this morning because I was far too busy actually coaching 😂 Technique, learning, trying new things and getting these ladies out of their comfort zones 💪

But what I did capture… I’m so bloody proud of them.

They’ve worked hard. They’ve laughed. They’ve supported each other. And somewhere along the way, they’ve built friendships that now exist outside of the gym too 🥹

They’re meeting up. They’re making plans. They’re genuinely becoming friends.

And THIS. This is exactly what I wanted the Embody Collective to be. 🧡

Not just six weeks of training. Strength. Confidence. Community.

I love these ladies to bits 🥹🧡

Today’s plans changed, so I adapted.

The car’s in the garage, which meant an unexpected couple of hours at the gym… and I wasn’t about to waste them.

Nine exercises. Two hours. One very humbled upper body. 💪😮‍💨

Some days you feel unstoppable. Some days you have to dig a little deeper. Either way, you show up.

Consistency isn’t about having the perfect plan, it’s about making the best of the one you’ve got.

Now excuse me while I attempt to wash my hair tomorrow… 😅

Strength training is powerful. It builds confidence, resilience, muscle, and a strong foundation for our bodies.

But movement is so much more than one thing.

Yoga isn’t simply a “bonus” or add on. Yoga is a practice in its own right, with benefits that reach far beyond flexibility.

As a yoga teacher, I see every week how this practice helps people reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, improve their awareness, build strength through different ranges of motion, and create space to slow down and breathe.

Because health isn’t just about how much we can lift, how fast we can run, or how hard we can push ourselves.

It’s also about how well we move, how we recover, how we manage stress, and how we feel within ourselves.

Strength training, yoga, mobility, conditioning and rest all have their place. They aren’t competing with each other — they complement each other.

My yoga classes are a space to step away from the noise, reconnect with yourself and leave feeling stronger, calmer and more balanced.

Your body isn’t just something to train. It’s something to live in for the rest of your life. 🤍

Fitness is more than workouts, macros, and PRs.

The gym can support your mental health, but it isn’t a replacement for therapy. There are no inherently “bad” exercises, only movements that are more or less appropriate for the individual.

Health is influenced by more than personal choices; access, environment, and opportunity all play a role.

These are conversations worth having. Which point resonates with you most?

Tonight was one of those sessions that reminds me why I love what I do. 🥹💪

These incredible women learnt how to conventional deadlift and started working towards pull-ups tonight… and they absolutely smashed it!

A few weeks ago, some of them walked into the gym unsure of where to start. Now they’re lifting barbells, challenging themselves and doing things they never thought they could.

It’s never just about the weights.

It’s about building confidence.

It’s about trusting your body.

It’s about proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you imagined.

Watching these women grow stronger—physically and mentally—is such a privilege. 🤍

This is what the Embody Collective is all about.

Strength.

Confidence.

Community.

And we’re only just getting started. 🌿💪

Everyone wants to know the secret to “doing it all.”

There isn’t one.

There’s just a very detailed rotation schedule of things I’m pretending not to notice. 😂🙈

A little disclaimer… 🤍

I’m not saying yoga is therapy.

But I do believe movement can be incredibly therapeutic.

As a coach, I’ve spent years helping people move their bodies. From teaching swimming and classes to becoming a Wellness Coach, Meditation Coach and Yoga Teacher, one thing has become so clear…

We’re often taught to keep pushing.

Lift heavier.
Run faster.
Do more.

But we’re rarely taught the importance of slowing down.

Strength and softness aren’t opposites—they complement each other.

Building a strong body also means creating space for recovery. It means improving mobility, learning to breathe well, calming the nervous system and giving yourself permission to simply be.

Because when we only live in “go mode”, eventually our minds and bodies ask us to slow down.

Yoga has taught me that movement isn’t always about burning calories or hitting personal bests. Sometimes it’s about reconnecting with yourself.

It’s about noticing your breath.

Stretching the areas that hold tension.

Stepping away from the noise.

Coming back to the present.

Showing yourself the same kindness you so freely give everyone else.

No, yoga isn’t therapy. But for many of us, it creates space to process, to breathe and to find a little more peace in the middle of busy lives.

That’s why I teach strength training and yoga.

Because I don’t just want women to become physically stronger.

I want them to feel stronger in their minds, more connected to their bodies and confident enough to move through life with both resilience and self-compassion.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do… is slow down. 🤍
