Last night capped another wonderful summer of cricket for the Leicester Ivanhoe Academy, sponsored by Sylvian Domiciliary Care.

Many awards and celebrations for our thriving junior section who have achieved more success.

On top of it all, a very sad goodbye to James Bancroft, our Junior Coordinator and architect of our current junior programme. James took on the role when our junior cricket was on the verge of collapse and has steered the club in a new and successful direction. We wish James all the best and thank him for his dedicated service.

THE BUSINESS END OF THE SEASON 🔥

With just two matches remaining, both Leicester Ivanhoe’s 1st XI and 2nd XI sit at the top of their respective leagues.

The 1st XI travel to Shepshed for another important Premier Division fixture. With the season entering its final stages, the focus is firmly on maintaining the standards and performances that have put the side in such a strong position.

The 2nd XI are back at home as they continue their Premier 3 South campaign. Sitting top with two games remaining, the side will be looking to put in another strong performance and build on an excellent season so far.

Two teams. Two league-leading positions. Two huge fixtures.

We would love to see plenty of support for both sides as the season reaches its final stages.

Last night, for the 3rd year in a row, our U11s have been crowned Leicestershire and Rutland Youth League Incrediball champions beating Gilmorton in a brilliantly fought final! 👑

A great start to the week for our Women & Girls team, with a fantastic win in the return friendly fixture against Ratby Town Cricket Club

Thanks to the Ratby Town Women for hosting, it’s great to see another Women & Girl’s side in the local area - we look forward to a few more battles in the future 🤝

The W&G team now set their sights on the final Softball Smash Festival of the season at Kegworth Cricket Club this Sunday. Can they build on their 8 game unbeaten streak in the Softball Smash?

We are into another week of junior cricket for the Leicester Ivanhoe Academy, brought to you by Sylvian Domiciliary Care.

Last night, our u13 Knights visited Loughborough Carrillion and came away with a 5 wicket victory.

Tonight, u15 Foxes travel to Appleby Magna starting at 6pm.

A huge evening awaits on Friday. Our u11s face Gilmorton at home in their Incrediball Final. The whole club wishes them the best of luck! The In the Wild - Coffee & Food Co. will be on site to provide food throughout the evening.

In addition, we are attending a Kwik cricket festival at Broughton Astley and training for all other age groups and teams will take place at home base run by scott moore .

The weekends are flying by! ☁️

Our 3rd XI produced another fine display yesterday with Mason Gale bowling 5/44 off his 10 overs. This and a fine chase awarded the 3rd XI with a crucial win against their promotion rivals. A 3rd 5 wicket haul of the season for Mason who is having a wonderful year on the field.

Our u11 side are in Incrediball League Semi Final action at 5.45pm this evening! With training also on for other age groups at 6pm!

Softball Smash action today! 💚💜

The Womens and girls team have named a 9 strong side to travel to Loughborough Carillon for the next softball smash tournament!

There is 9 teams competing in the sun today, with our side to play 4 games. There is a BBQ on site and the bar open all day and they will appreciate all the support! 💚💜

The summer is flying by; another weekend of cricket! 💜

To begin the weekend, our first XI travel to Oakham in a bid to strengthen their position at the top of the Premier Division. A very warm welcome back to Harry Swindells who is making his long awaited return in our colours!

For the 2nd XI, they face Bitteswell at Home on pitch 1, which is promising to be a brilliant fixture between 2 sides fighting for promotion in Premier 3 South.

Our 3rd XI travel to Bombay in Championship 1 South looking to continue their momentum with a 5th win in a row to push themselves into the promotion places.

Finally, our 4th XI, in Championship 3 North, face Ratby Town 2nd XI at Home on pitch 2. Another intriguing fixture between two sides looking to pressure the promotion places.
