Revive You

With the lovely Ruby, celebrating her 21st Birthday on Saturday with my sister, friends and clients.

My breakfast this morning at 7.30am before I left for the airport. Anita, the perfect host… creating a beautiful table for us. She planned my wedding at her hotel in Zell am Zee in 1999 and this week back together after 16 years, both divorced, single, older and definitely much wiser.
When I got back to her home yesterday she had created a beautiful display of the things I had bought (the designer bags are hers, added with creative licence) together with a bouquet of flowers in my favourite colours, card and gift. I have been truly spoilt the last few days. Thank you Anita. Fx

If you love to camp I can’t imagine many places much better, amazing facilities, by the lake, surrounded by the mountains. Fx

The strangest things happened today… it was overcast so I slowly wandered around the lake (in my lovely new Zell socks) mid morning and 10mins into my walk bumped into one of Anita’s friends I met at her dinner party on Tuesday… 5mins later I bumped into the singer I listened to at the bar in Kaprun last night… who it turned out was from Newcastle in England and had moved to Zell pre covid.
3 hours later I stopped for a flat white, decaf coffee and when I went inside to pay…
The lady (Sonia) at the bar said, ‘hello, I know you, do you remember me?’ Long story short - she had recognised me from 16 years ago when I used to stay in Anita’s hotel!
A moment one way or the other and I wouldn’t have seen any of them! Fate.

My one purchase from ‘Brundl Sports’…
I have been looking for some tangerine and/or lilac trainers for a couple of months now… so when I saw these in the sale with bright pink thrown in I was blown away! Fx

After drying off and eating Anita took me off to Kaprun where there would usually be a glacier… for some sports shopping at Brundl! OMG it blue my mind, very upmarket and everything you could wish for! I was very good though and stayed focussed. I only bought x1 thing!
Afterwards Anita, her friend Katrina and I had drinks in the roof top bar and restaurant. The glass bridge I am standing on appears to float over the river below without support. Fx

So after our shopping came our walk/hike… it was a first for Anita so I felt privileged she chose to do it with me. She had been told… 30mins but it was 90mins to walk up and 45mins down. Straight up through the forest 2000m and 15k steps. So as you can see on the way up it was reasonably bright but not sunny, which was good for walking but once we reached the top we walked into the mist, rain and it cooled. The view wasn’t quite as we hoped but it was still wonderful and the walk exhilarating but not for the faint hearted.
We walked, almost jogged down the through the forest and a thunderstorm and reached the bottom looking like drowned rats! Fx

Garden centre number two… I may have bought a few little things! Including a wooden handbag which is designed for planting in… but I will use it as an actual handbag. My vision for my own shop is now clear again for when I get home. Fx

Yesterday we went to x2 beautiful florists/garden centres. One I have been to many times the other, this one… Anita’s favourite and new to me. It was very inspiring and rejuvenated everything that is creative in me. Fx
