Following the recent AGM and the appointment of our new committee, we’re inviting all members, players, parents and supporters to come along and meet the people helping drive the club forward.

You’ll also have the chance to meet our coaches, hear about plans for the season ahead, ask questions and share ideas.

With the BBQ on, the bar open and plenty of good company, it promises to be a great social afternoon at the club. We look forward to seeing you there!

ULTIMATE RUGBY 7s TALENT DEVELOPMENT DAY

Ultimate Rugby 7s are bringing their Talent Development Day to Leicester Forest RFC on Tuesday 23rd June, offering players the chance to experience the fast-paced and exciting world of Rugby 7s.

Boys – Year 8 and above

This event is open to players from all clubs, so whether you’re already playing rugby or looking to challenge yourself in a new format of the game, we’d love to see you there.

We’re delighted to confirm that Oli Duffield has re-signed for the upcoming season!

Oli continues to go from strength to strength and enjoyed a fantastic season, including representing at county level. A testament to the hard work, dedication and talent he brings to the game.

An outstanding player and a huge asset to the squad, Oli consistently sets high standards both on and off the field. We’re incredibly proud to see his development and can’t wait to see what he achieves in the season ahead.

🔒 RE-SIGNED 🔒

We’re delighted to confirm that Zane Holland has re-signed for the upcoming season!

Zane has been at Forest since minis and juniors and is a committed and dedicated player, he has always given everything for the shirt and is a valued member of the team both on and off the pitch.

Unfortunately, a concussion suffered in February cut last season short, but throughout his recovery he has shown great resilience and determination. We’re looking forward to seeing him back out on the pitch and doing what he loves in Forest colours once again.

We’re thrilled to have Zane continuing his journey with us and can’t wait to see what the 2026/27 season has in store.

NEW APPOINTMENT | FORWARDS COACH

We’re delighted to welcome Matt White to Leicester Forest RFC as our new Forwards Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Matt joins the club at an exciting time and brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and a real passion for developing players and building strong team cultures.

Speaking about his appointment, Matt said:

“I am really excited to be joining the club and working with the players. Temi has an exciting project underway, and I’m looking forward to helping bring it to fruition by combining the experience within the squad with the talented young players progressing into senior rugby.

I have high expectations of the players, but I also believe in balancing a high-performance culture with fun and enjoyment.

It’s an exciting time for the club, and I can’t wait to get started and be part of what promises to be a special journey.”

Our Senior Academy Colts are back for pre-season and we’d love to welcome a new faces into the squad. If you’re moving clubs, getting back into rugby or just fancy a new challenge, you’ll find a good bunch of lads and a great environment to be part of.

Pre-season starts 30th June, with training every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm at Leicester Forest Rugby Club.

🐾 Join us on Saturday 8th August for our Family Fun Dog Show at Leicester Forest RFC, raising money for Guide Dogs to help name a future guide dog puppy, Scarratt.

There’ll be dog show classes, stalls, inflatables, popcorn, candy floss, a BBQ and the bar will be open!

We’re also looking for stall holders. If you run a local business and would like to get involved, please send us a message. We’d love your support! 💛🐶

Having been part of the club since mini & juniors, Kynon has been a fantastic example of what our pathway is all about. It’s been brilliant to see his development and watch him continue to grow within the squad season after season.

A huge asset both on and off the pitch, Kynon brings commitment, determination and a real passion for the club every time he pulls on the shirt. His attitude, work ethic and influence within the team make him an important part of the Forest family, and we’re thrilled he’ll be continuing the journey with us.
