No matter the team, these lads get the job done! After an impressive bowling display to keep Electricity Sports to a lower total than they would like, a huge opening stand of 122 followed by a couple of contributions here and there put the ones in the winners lounge once again!

Our Seconds are at home this week in the glorious sunshine of Kirkby Road so would be rude not to some and grab a drink at the Barn and watch Dill’s Barmy army gun for a win!

After last week’s incredible results, that concludes the 1st half of the season. Both teams sit in 4th where we should give massive praise to the U21’s for stepping up this season with some incredible match- winning performances. No better way than kicking off the 2nd half of the season with back to back wins…

Soak up the atmosphere with a crisp beer from the Barn and back the lads!

Ignore the results, didn’t happen!

Some unbelievable performances out there this week, just not enough to get us over the line!

Two great knocks earn POTW this week from the Seconds and the Thirds. Guy Norris played at slightly ahead of a run a ball to score a solid 79 building a good partnership with Brad Harvey to get the 2s to a good total that was just chased down. Meanwhile for the 3s, Dan King had a captains knock trying to chase down a mammoth total on albeit shorter boundaries! Dan managed to notch up 62* off 44 and ran out of partners to see it over the line!

TOTW TIME BABY - GW11

We’re off and running with the TOTW, plenty to talk about from runs, wickets or even run outs this week across another mixed bag of results.

POTW (again) is Adam Stapleford-Jones with a strong start in a tricky run chase against Loughborough Town. Another half-century chalked up for Adam this year in what has been an up-and-down season by his standards!

Special mention must go to Jack Smith for guiding the team home at a point where wickets started to tumble at an alarming rate!
