Riders forward Nate Martin has announced via his Instagram that he has made the decision to step away from the game of basketball.

Nate signed his first professional contract with the Riders last summer and made a significant contribution throughout the 2025/26 campaign, playing an important role both on and off the court.

Everyone at the Leicester Riders would like to thank Nate for his professionalism, dedication, and commitment during his time with the club. We wish him every success and happiness in the next chapter of his journey.

Blake Bowman has completed a move to Belgian side Pro-Fix CB Liège ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Blake joined the Riders in 2022 on a multi-year contract, combining his professional career with his studies at Loughborough University.

During his time with the club, Blake was a part of the Riders 2024/25 Playoff Championship-winning team. Alongside his success at club level, he also enjoyed an outstanding university career with Loughborough Basketball, helping the programme secure multiple BUCS Championship titles. His performances were recognised in the 2023/24 BUCS Championship Final, where he was named Finals MVP.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Blake for his commitment and contribution over the past four seasons and wish him every success as he begins the next chapter of his career in Belgium.
