If you are interested in playing tennis, whether you are a beginner or you have played in the past, come along on Sunday 17th May 2026. If you see people playing on the courts when you arrive, don't worry. The players will know that there will be non-members coming to have a look.

The first of three scheduled 'Have a Go!' walking tennis sessions took place at Westfields Tennis Club yesterday (6th May) in conjunction with the Amputation Foundation. The other two sessions are from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Wednesday 3rd June and Wednesday 1st July 2026.
Participants can bring friends along to the club on Eastfield Road in the Western Park area of Leicester. Coaching and equipment will be provided. For more information, contact Cathy at [email protected]

Westfields Tennis Club are running an Easter egg hunt at the club from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday 21st March 2026. You don't have to be a member to join in the fun!

Westfields Tennis Club opened its doors as part of the Western Park Open Gardens event on 7th and 8th June 2025. We may not have had the most horticulturally outstanding display but we did welcome quite a few visitors on both the Saturday (when the weather was changeable) and the Sunday (when the weather was quite pleasant). Thanks to all those who provided flowers, weeded flowerbeds and cut back overgrown foliage prior to the event - and also those who welcomed the visitors.
