As always Safety is top of our mind when we are carrying out hot work on site and in this weather it is even more import to be extra diligent.
Welding some ground level supports on for posts that have to be mounted to footings or services. So they are ready for concrete next week.
Using our camera to scan for hot spots before we leave site, gives us the piece of mind that we are not going to leave smouldering spots that may later ignite.
Looking after you and your projects from Field to Farm. We can and will deliver a top quality job on time and in budget.

PLEASE READ... STARMERS IMPACT IS ONLY JUST STARTING!!!!!
I WONDER HOW MANY MORE FABRICATION SHOPS WILL BE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS OVER THE COMING MONTHS...
Starting 1 July 2026, the UK government is implementing a new steel trade strategy that reduces tariff-free import quotas for steel products by 60% and imposes a 50% tariff on any steel imports that exceed those quota limits. This policy aims to protect domestic steel production in the face of massive global overcapacity.Core Policy DetailsThe new steel measures replace the EU-inherited safeguards that expire on 30 June 2026.Reduced Quotas: Tariff-free import volume caps are slashed by roughly 60% across 20 product categories compared to the previous measures.Increased Tariffs: For any steel imported above the allotted quota threshold, a 50% tariff applies (up from the previous 25% out-of-quota tariff).Quarterly Management: The quotas are divided into strict quarterly limits. Any unused quota rolls over to the next quarter but cannot be carried forward into the next quota year.Product Scope: The measure specifically applies to imported steel goods that are also capable of being manufactured domestically in the UK.

As promised here are a few pictures of a building extension we have done for a local abattoir.
Unfortunately we have been pulled away from this job to fabricate and install a big refrigeration platform for the same customer. So it will be a few weeks before we can get back on with this one.
Thanks to the great team that made this happen.
Lawrence Baker Kye Watling @ TJC Agricultural Engineering a massive thanks also to.
Rob B, Conner, Wes S & Gary W for all your efforts. Who all put a great shift in to help get this done.
Thanks everybody for your efforts and humor over the past few weeks.
