Week 2 of the 2026/27 season, and the squads are fired up and ready to go! This week our womens 3/4s will take the early spot at St Margarets Pastures as the internal battles begin! They’ll also be followed by the M1 who look to take their first 3 points of the season in their first home fixture.

Best of luck to all squads.

CHECK OUT OUR SUPERSTARS! ⭐️

As well as the start of the senior season, this weekend saw the first opportunity for some of our youngest players (U8/10/12) to showcase their skills and teamwork at the first tournament of the year, hosted by Charnwood Forest HC.

The squads all did really well with all teams having mixed results, but all enjoying some great fun hockey. Lots of players were making their first forays into new age groups, but all really stepped up with some great hockey on show.

The LCHC future is bright! 🖤🤍🏑

The start of the season is a tricky time, seeing the change for every squad from the freedom of summer break to the structure and commitment required for a positive season. In that vein, we’re delighted with some hugely positive strides amongst a mixed bag of results for opening weekend. Players stepped up and stepped in, debuts were made, but most excitingly 6 squads of players turned out to represent the club, and 6 games of hockey were enjoyed by over 100 members.

Big things to come this season, and it’s not too late to be a part of it! 🖤🤍🏑 #
