🌿 Weekly Yoga Update 🌿

A new week, a new Body Focus… 💜

This week we’re focusing on Hips & Lower Back.

We’ll be using gentle movement to release tension, improve mobility and create more comfort through the hips and lower back. If you’ve been sitting for long periods, feeling stiff or simply need to move with a little more ease, this week’s classes are for you.

Unfortunately, I had to postpone Create Your Calm last week, so I’m really looking forward to holding it this Thursday instead. If you were hoping to come last week—or you’d simply like an evening to slow down, stretch, breathe and deeply relax—there are still a few spaces available. Just send me a message. 💜

Something a little different this summer…

I’m excited to be introducing a Summer Body Focus Series across my yoga classes!

Each week we’ll gently focus on a different area of the body, helping to release tension, improve mobility and leave you feeling calmer, stronger and more comfortable in your everyday life.

Whether you’re joining me on the mat or in a chair, every class will include gentle movement, mindful breathing and a lovely relaxation to finish. 💜

✨ This week’s focus: Shoulders & Chest – perfect if you’re carrying tension from work, driving or everyday life.

🧘‍♀️ Create Your Calm – I have 3 spaces remaining for Thursday evening’s two-hour relaxation session. If you’d like to join us, just send me a message.

🎈 Family Wellbeing – Our final session before the summer break is tomorrow, 5:30–6:30pm, complete with a bouncy castle! Everyone who’s joined us this year is warmly welcome, and if you’ve been thinking of coming along, we’d love to see you.

📅 Please note: There will be no classes on Friday 18th July, and we’ll be taking a summer break from 9th–16th August.

☀️ The sun is shining and Weekend Reset is on this morning!

Come and join us from 10:00–11:00 at Newton Harcourt for an hour of gentle stretching, mindfulness, gratitude and peace.

A lovely way to slow down, breathe deeply and start your weekend feeling calm and refreshed. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to yoga or have practised before.

Theme of the Week: Gratitude

This week in class, we’re taking a little time to slow down and focus on gratitude.

Life isn’t always easy, but there is always something to be thankful for. Together we’ll move gently, breathe deeply, let go of what’s weighing us down, and make space to notice the good.

I’m so grateful for this wonderful community and for every one of you. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. 💚

All classes are running as normal this week, and I can’t wait to see you on the mat.

💜 It was an absolute pleasure to spend the morning with the wonderful team and clients at Together Against Cancer.

The work they do to support people affected by a cancer diagnosis is truly incredible, creating a safe, welcoming space where wellbeing is at the heart of everything they offer.

If you or someone in your family has received a cancer diagnosis, their services are available free of charge, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I’m so grateful to have been invited to facilitate this Create Your Calm session. It was a beautiful morning, and seeing everyone leave feeling more relaxed, grounded and connected was such a privilege.

I’ll be back later this year for another session, so if you’d like to join us, everyone is very welcome. The next session is planned for 20th August, where we’ll be exploring Flow State together.

SLOW DOWN

In a world that constantly encourages us to do more, move faster, and keep pushing forward, this week’s classes are an invitation to pause.

To breathe a little deeper.
To move a little slower.
To give your body and mind the space they need to reset.

With the warm weather continuing, we’ll be taking things gently and mindfully, focusing on calming movement, breath, and relaxation.

All classes are running as normal this week, and our venues stay lovely and cool with plenty of fresh air and fans to keep everyone comfortable.

Take a breath.

Exhale.

Your mat is waiting. 💜

💜 SELF-LOVE 💜

When was the last time you offered yourself the same kindness and compassion that you so freely give to everyone else?

This week’s classes are all about slowing down, softening, and reconnecting with ourselves. Through gentle movement, breathwork and relaxation, we’ll be focusing on self-care, self-compassion and restoring our energy.

So often we’re busy looking after everyone around us that we forget to fill our own cup first.

This week, give yourself permission to pause.

✨ Be kind to yourself.
✨ Rest when you need to.
✨ Take up space.
✨ Remember that you matter too.

Everybody is welcome, whether you’re joining us on the mat or on the chair.

Some messages land right in your heart 💛

I received this lovely card from one of my yoga students, and it reminded me why I do what I do.

Life can be busy, stressful and overwhelming at times, but having a space to pause, breathe, move and reconnect can make such a difference.

Thank you to everyone who comes along to class each week and allows me to be part of your journey. It truly means the world.
