I was halfway through my workout then Roman decided he wanted a turn… 🤣

He waddled over to the barbell, tried to pick it up, so I helped him complete three little deadlifts.

It made me laugh, but it also reminded me of something really important…

Our children are always watching.

They don’t do what we tell them to do. They do what they see us doing.

When they see us exercising, fuelling our bodies well, getting stronger and looking after ourselves, they learn that those things are just a normal part of life.

One day he probably won’t remember these little workouts together, but he’ll grow up remembering that Mum exercised, Mum was strong, and Mum made her health a priority.

You never know who you’re inspiring just by showing up.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for your children is take care of yourself. 💚

You don’t need more willpower. You need a better plan.

One of the biggest things that helps my clients stay consistent isn’t a magic meal plan… it’s taking a few minutes to prepare ahead.

While dinner was cooking tonight, I prepped tomorrow’s breakfast.

That’s one less decision to make in the morning.
One less opportunity to grab something that won’t keep me full.
One more step towards my goals without even thinking about it.

Meal prep doesn’t have to mean spending hours in the kitchen every Sunday. It can be as simple as preparing tomorrow’s breakfast while you’re already cooking tonight’s meal.

Small habits like this:
🥣 Save time
💪 Make it easier to hit your protein target
⚡ Keep your energy levels more stable
🍴 Help you make better food choices when life gets busy

Success isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making the healthy choice the easy choice.

Just a little reminder…

If you’re trying to change your body composition, you need to train with intent.

Those last few reps should feel tough. You should be getting close to failure, where you genuinely don’t think you could do many more with good form.

If you’re finishing every set thinking, “I could have done loads more,” you’re probably not challenging yourself enough to get the changes you want.

Progressive overload is what builds muscle, and building muscle is what helps create that toned, strong look so many of you are working towards.

Train smart. Train hard. Trust the process.
