Leicestershire & Rutland County FA is looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer to join our team.

If you're a creative communicator who enjoys turning ideas into engaging campaigns, content and stories, this could be the opportunity for you.

From managing social media and creating digital content, to supporting campaigns and telling the stories of people and organisations across the local game, you’ll help us Inspire Positive Change through football across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Leicestershire Lionesses Leadership Academy, in collaboration with the Leicestershire Women & Girls Football League, is supporting girls aged 11–15 to build confidence, develop leadership skills and discover their future pathway in football.

Across six sessions, participants will explore coaching, volunteering, refereeing and sports marketing, gaining practical experience and meeting people working across the game.

With 228 nominations submitted nationwide, we’re incredibly proud that our work across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland has been recognised.

The winners will be announced at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Wednesday 4 November.

We’re inviting eligible clubs across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to register their interest in the next round of the Howdens Game Changer Kitchen Programme.

The programme gives local grassroots clubs the opportunity to receive a free domestic kitchen, helping to improve clubhouse facilities and create a more welcoming space for players, volunteers and the wider community.

Applications open on 1 September 2026. Complete our Expression of Interest form now so we can confirm your eligibility, guide you through the process and support your club’s application.

Your club must:

✅ Be England Football Accredited, either 1-star with at least six teams or 2-star or 3-star accredited
✅ Have at least five years’ security of tenure at the facility
✅ Be applying for a domestic kitchen within a clubhouse or community facility
