Lincoln Gymnastics Club- LGC

To all of those who knew you in the gym, you were Mr H,
the man who, for years, could spot and catch us before it was too late.
When we were younger, you seemed scary,
the man in charge of the gym.
But you were a softy at heart, and in your later days, you gave a hug whenever you came in.

You coached countless gymnasts across the years, many of whom have now returned.
They bring their sons and daughters to the place where they once learned.
No one ever forgets their first coach, the memories of you will last.
Each one was different from the lives you changed, but all held dearly, now that you’ve passed.

LGC, the county, the region, and so many more contributions you made,
in your time as a coach across Lincolnshire, your unwavering commitment never faded.
You inspired young coaches who are now getting older, and they are passing the baton on to more.
Creating a family feel at LGC, whenever anyone enters the door.

It is with love and sadness that we write these words, and give support to your family at this date,
A loving family man and head coach, the one and only Mr H.
