Before we head off for our summer break, I promised I’d share all of our marks of 90 and above from our latest exam session.

Of course, it’s not just about achieving 90 or higher. It’s about setting a goal and working hard to reach it. It’s about weeks of dedication, practising exercises over and over again, learning and remembering terminology, mastering directions, and building the confidence to perform in an exam setting.

Every single student who took an exam this session has achieved something to be proud of. Their commitment, perseverance, and hard work have been incredible to watch, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. Tonight, we said goodbye to Erin as she moves on to East 15 Acting School.

Erin has danced with the DC teachers for the past 6 years and has been part of DC since the very beginning. Throughout that time, she has shown such loyalty, commitment, and hard work from such a young age, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved.

Erin, we wish you all the luck in the world for the bright future ahead of you. Never be shy to come back and see us all — you’ll always be part of the DC family.

We are so proud to share that Emma achieved an incredible 100/100 in her Grade 1 ISTD Modern exam!

Scoring full marks is exceptionally rare, and one of the reasons our results took a little longer to come back is because marks like this have to be triple-checked.

Emma has only been dancing for 15 months, and her hard work, dedication, and willingness to take on everything we ask of her week in, week out has been amazing to watch. She always gives 100%, trusts the process, and this result is so well deserved.

Emma, we are beyond proud of you and everything you have achieved — what a huge milestone! ✨👏

Later this week, I’ll also be sharing all of our other fantastic marks in the 90s, because we have quite a few and they absolutely deserve celebrating too!

Post 2 - Nene Valley Festival marked our last festival before our summer break, and the final festival for a few of our senior girls, who are going to be missed so much. 🩷I couldn’t be prouder of the DC team and everything they’ve achieved so far this year. It’s been a non-stop few months with festivals, exams, and moving into our new studio, and every single dancer has handled it all with such dedication and resilience. Well done to you all!

It was a delight to watch some of our Grade 3 Ballet students in action today. Seeing Rebecca teach with such passion and witnessing how engaged and inspired the students were was a real joy. Huge kudos to Rebecca for being such an exceptional teacher 🩰 ✨

Our first week in our new home is almost complete! The students have been absolutely buzzing to finally be in a building of our own, and it feels so rewarding to see all the hard work paying off. We still have lots to do, but we’re excited to have the students alongside us as they watch the space continue to evolve into something truly special ✨

A huge thank you to all of our parents for being so positive and supportive throughout this transition. We’re incredibly grateful for your encouragement, patience, and enthusiasm as we continue to develop our new space. Having such a supportive community behind us means so much, and we can’t wait to share the next stages of the journey with you all 🫶🏽
