What a result for England against Mexico 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🙌

Everyone was glued to the screens until the early hours of Monday morning and it was definitely worth staying up for.

Now it’s onto the Quarter Final as England face Norway, with two of the best No. 9s in world football going head to head.

Today we’re hosting the Captains’ Charity Golf Day in support of Young Leicestershire. ⛳💙

One of the highlights of the day is our “Beat the Pro” challenge on the 8th hole, where Mark is taking on everyone brave enough to give it a go.

It’s fair to say Club Captain Duncan didn’t manage to get the better of Mark. The Captain’s still smiling… which is impressive, considering the result!

Another bunker renovation completed on the 4th green side bunker.

The old sand was removed before exposing and extending the drainage. The bottom of the bunker was then scraped out and prepared for the new sand.

Fresh China clay sand was installed, soaked thoroughly and compacted with a wacker plate to create a firm consistent base.

A great improvement that will provide better drainage, improved playability and a fresh new look. ⛳

Yesterday the ladies took on the Greenkeepers Revenge… and we’re delighted to report that none of the greenkeepers were chased off the course! 😅⛳
