Last week, a group of members kindly gave up their time to search the bushes around the driving range for missing golf balls. ⛳️🔍

An incredible 1,000+ balls were recovered! A huge thank you to everyone who helped out — your time and hard work was greatly appreciated.

Finding that many golf balls in the bushes does raise one question though… perhaps a few more of you need to work on hitting the ball a little straighter! 😂🏌️‍♂️

On Sunday, Seva Johal hosted his Junior Captain’s Day in support of Cancer Research UK and together we raised over £7,000. 👏

It was fantastic to see so many juniors taking part and supporting such an important cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated. Special congratulations must go to Seva, who put a huge amount of hard work into organising such a fantastic day. ⛳💙

🇪🇺 THE LEICESTERSHIRE SOLHEIM CUP 2026 🇺🇸

Yesterday our Ladies Section hosted the annual Solheim Cup. It was fantastic to see so many members getting involved and embracing the occasion in their Europe and USA colours! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Foursomes, Fourballs and Singles matches were played throughout the day before everyone enjoyed some Solheim Cup-themed food afterwards.

After a closely fought contest it was Team USA who came out on top with a 9–7 victory! 🇺🇸🏆

A huge thank you to the Ladies Section for organising another brilliant event and to everyone who took part! 👏⛳

Yesterday Yash, Anay and Zach proudly represented the L&RGU in the Keith Tripp Trophy.

The event brings together four counties, with eight players representing each team and the best seven gross scores counting towards the overall result.

Some fantastic golf was played across the team, with a brilliant all round performance seeing Leicestershire & Rutland crowned 2026 Keith Tripp Trophy winners! 🏆👏

A special mention must go to Anay, who produced an outstanding round of 76, earning him the best individual gross score of the entire event! ⛳️🔥

A fantastic achievement from Yash, Anay, Zach and the whole L&RGU team. Congratulations to everyone involved! 🏆
