Fliers 4–0 CTK Junior's Blue

An excellent performance from the team this morning who started there league campaign with a well deserved victory.

Olly opened the scoring with a good finish after a lovely ball from Max sent him through on goal before Tianna doubled our lead with a rocket into the top corner. Thea made it 3 before HT with a great strike from distance which was too powerful for the keeper to hold on to.

We continued to dominate in the 2nd half & we didn't have to wait long for our 4th of the game, Olly beat his player out on the right before his cross eventually dropped to Elison on the edge of the box and he calmly slotted the ball into the corner with a lovely finish.

A bit of a different challenge tonight as we faced a team from the age group above to help give us a physical test.

Our 2 best chances came right at the end of each half where we should have really scored but overall a good game against a decent team as we get closer to the start of the season.

Our first game back after a 6 week break and what an entertaining match it was. Despite leading 3-0 & then 4-1, Sphinx never gave up and scored late on to earn a draw which was probably a fair result on the day.
