Sara Horner School of Dance is a warm, welcoming and happy dance school based at Brackenwood Community Association. We hold classes in ballet, tap and musical theatre to children and adults of all ages and are affiliated with bbodance. Sara has attained a Level 6 Diploma in Dance Teaching (Registered Teaching Status RTS) with bbodance and holds a DBS and is first aid and safeguarding trained. Sh

Last night was Throwback Thursday! Re learning adult tap routines from previous years.
'Burning Love' is one one of my favourites as I love the song and I first taught this at the original Lidgett Lane Community Centre in August 2017. We also re learned 'Don't Stop Me Now' our Tapathon 2022 routine 🚀🔥🎵

It is our final term of our '10th Anniversary Year' 🩵 and we have Days 7, 8, 9 and 10 still to celebrate 🥳😍
The children are heading straight into exam practice and myself and our Adult Tappers are looking forward to our social event next month 😀☺️

On the 31st March, Miss Sara had the pleasure of attending CPD at Northern Ballet 'Rise and Shine: Leading movement, music and multi-sensory play with PMLD participants.' There were sessions about the wonderful Northern Ballet project 'Rise and Shine' and by BLINK Dance Theatre learning how to support neurodivergent and disabled artists and leaders ♥️
