Trust your body and own the process šŸ“ˆ

Progress is never a straight line.

You will experience massive wins and tough setbacks, but every failure is just fuel.

Do not stop.

It gets frustrating, heavy, and exhausting—push through anyway. Consistency always wins. Nothing comes when we’re comfortable. šŸ”„

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT šŸ¤ | FULL BODY RECOMP

This is what happens when you stop chasing perfection and start focusing on consistency, structure and not giving up.

My client came to me as a busy, full-time working mum. She knew she wanted to make a change but needed guidance, structure and someone to keep her accountable— so we started online coaching.

And honestly… look at what she has achieved. šŸ„¹šŸ‘šŸ¼

She has worked SO hard for this.

Not every single week was 100% perfect — because real life happens. But she kept showing up. She stayed determined, got back on track when things didn’t go to plan and **never gave up.

Throughout her journey she has:
✨ Learnt completely new exercises and become more confident in the gym
✨ Trained a mixture of home & gym workouts
✨ Incorporated cardio without letting it take over
✨ Learnt how to balance food without feeling like she had to be ā€œperfectā€
✨ Built consistency around a busy work and family life
✨ Got stronger, fitter and more confident in herself

And the result?

A full body recomposition— noticeably tighter, stronger and more defined, but more importantly, a woman who feels happier, more confident and proud of what her body can do.šŸ¤

This is why I love coaching women.

Because it’s not about being perfect. It’s about learning how to make fitness and healthy habits fit around YOUR life.

You don’t need to have hours to spend in the gym.
You don’t need to eat perfectly every day.
You don’t need to completely change your life overnight.

You just need the right structure, support, accountability and the determination to keep going.

I couldn’t be prouder of her. šŸ„¹šŸ¤

This is your reminder that consistency > perfection, every single time.

Today was the dayā€¦šŸ‘šŸ»

13 weeks later…

Finally, I tried my first last pull down since my op🄺

It may have only been 19kg, it’s not quite full range, still struggling to retract properly, but it’s a start. And people who know how much I LOVE training back will understand my excitementšŸ˜…šŸ‘šŸ»

We can only go up from here šŸ§±šŸ”Ø

Setting the Sunday motivation for the weeks ahead šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

I worked bloody hard years ago to get to this shoot, so I’m using it as inspiration to get myself back on the wagon. Setting those none negotiable’s for the week ahead 🤩

Social media paints this narrative of what you’re supposed to look like if you consider yourself ā€œhealthyā€, ā€œfitness-orientatedā€ or, in my case, a ā€œpersonal trainerā€.

I should be lean. Have abs. Defined arms and legs. A cute, perky bum- no matter what.

The list goes on…

And every now and again, I let it get into my head.
I let the body dysmorphia take over. I self-sabotage. I question whether I’m even in the right career because I don’t currently ā€œlook a certain wayā€.šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

And when you actually step back and think about it, it’s crazy.
Forget everything you’ve learnt. Forget your qualifications, your experience and the knowledge you’ve built over the years.

Forget how you support your clients, how much you care about them and the results you help them achieve.

Apparently, the only thing that matters is how your body looks.

I’ve been having a down week about my appearance, but I was reminded something that I needed to hear: women want authenticity. Something to relate to, to not feel alone with.

My clients don’t need me to have abs. They don’t need me to look ā€œperfectā€. They need me to be knowledgeable, supportive, trustworthy and caring.

And that’s exactly who I am.

I’m 12 weeks post-op. My stomach is bloated. There are no abs in sight. My bum jiggles. My body looks and feels different. There’s no quick bounce back.

And you know what?

This is normal. This is healthy. This is human.

Maybe being a personal trainer isn’t about having the ā€œperfectā€ body.

Maybe it’s about showing people that you don’t need one to know exactly what you’re talking about, to love fitness, or to help someone else feel stronger and more confident in their own body. šŸ¤

I am slowly working on me, mentally, emotionally and physically, at my own pace & there’s nothing to be ashamed of šŸ‘šŸ»

The strength is slowly coming back on the legsšŸ¦µšŸ‘šŸ»

Might be waddling tomorrow but that was a good session - went into it feeling a bit low about myself and came out feeling so happy with how things moved🄹
