Our 7th club championship race of the year was the Eccup 10 and 5 mile races. You had the option of either distance and we had another great turnout for this undulating course.
Congratulations to Sarah, 1st lady in the 5 mile and Richard 2nd male also in the 5 mile which was a new distance added to the Eccup lineup this year.
Huge well done to everyone who took part yesterday.
Our next championship race is just around the corner on Friday 24th July and is the st Aidens 10k. There’s not many places left for this one (47) so make sure to sign up soon if you want to take part.

Club race number 6 on Saturday was at the very local Shadwell 10km.
A whopping 46 members, both 1st and 2nd claim took part in this multi terrain race hosted by Shadwell Runners and there was some cracking times by all.
Dan and Richard took the 1st and 2nd spot overall and the ladies podium was made up of all STAC members - Jane, (1st) Sarah, (2nd) and Hannah (3rd).
Dan and Jane also broke the men and ladies course records.
Well done to everyone who took part, it’s really great to see so many of you getting involved!

Congratulations to our beginners class of 2026! Last Thursday saw them finish a 12 week course taking them from 0-50 minutes of non stop running. Looking forward to seeing you all at a STAC session soon! 🎉

How have we had our 5th club championship race of the year already??!!
Yesterday saw a fantastic turnout at Cookridge 10km.
Congratulations to Richard 1st place, Jane 1st lady, Sarah 2nd lady and Wendy and Peter on their age category wins 🙌🙌
Well done to everyone who ran yesterday, it’s brilliant to see so many of you embracing the club champs this year!
