Leeds Samurai Martial Arts

The summer holidays are nearly over, and it was good to see people starting to return to training this week.

The first weeks of September are a great time to start martial arts, or get back into training if you’ve been away for a while. With the new school year approaching, it’s a good opportunity to get back into a regular routine.

We train Japanese Jujitsu for children and adults in Leeds, with beginners always welcome. 🥋

Congratulations to one of our younger students on earning his red belt this evening.

Belts aren’t just about techniques. They recognise the effort, perseverance and confidence built week after week through regular training.

Well done. Keep working hard and enjoy the journey to the next one.

Congratulations to everyone who graded last week! 🥋

Last week we awarded new belts and grades to some of our students. Whether they’ve earned their first red tag or have been training for years, every grading represents the hard work, determination and commitment they’ve put in over many months, and sometimes years.

It’s fantastic to see our students progressing and achieving something they can be proud of. Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to our instructors and families for their continued support.

If you’re thinking about starting martial arts yourself, or you’re looking for a club for your child, we’d be delighted to tell you more. Beginners are always welcome, and your first 2 lessons are free.

Leeds Samurai Martial Arts has been teaching Japanese Jujitsu in Leeds since 1996. Adults and children train together in the same session. No competition. No egos. Just practical self-defence in a friendly, welcoming club.

When you arrive for the first time, someone will meet you, explain what's happening and make sure you're comfortable before anything starts. You go at your own pace.

First two sessions are completely free. Just turn up.
