Join us Saturday at the Norma Hutchinson Park (over the road from NSCD) for a free, family-friendly festival showcasing some incredible artists in the heart of Chapeltown

Expect live music, dance performances, workshops, puppets, art installations, you name it! All made possible by our wonderful community of artists

FUTURE NOW this week!

'OUTCRY' by multi-award-winning British Choreographer, Director & Performer Gary Clarke is inspired by the act of protest, not only as a form of resistance, but as a force for unity 💪

The work is built from archival images documenting protests across the decades, alongside written testimonies from each performer reflecting on the world today, exploring the power of people coming together in a shared voice, creating community through collective action and expression

To celebrate 40 years of NSCD and 400 years since Leeds recieved it’s first royal charter, we’ve put together a special dance challenge!
 
Our 40-second phrase is inspired by dances from the NSCD archive, and our wonderful tutor Charlotte Arnold is here to take you through every step
 
Have a go at home, at school, or wherever you are, then join us at Party in the Park on Sat 11 July to show off your new moves 🕺
