Volunteers Needed – Can You Help?
We're looking for volunteers with skills in any trade or a handyperson who might be able to help with a few jobs in our play area.

A few things that currently need attention:
🔧 The nest swing needs resetting so we can get it back up and in use. the frame keeps lifting form the ground, so had to remove the swing until it has been made safe
🛝 The slide needs inspecting to see whether it can be repaired.
🎠 New basket swings have been ordered today and will be fitted once they arrive.

We're also wondering if anyone works for, or knows of, a company that might be able to help with or donate some wood stain. The play area is starting to look a little tired, and we'd love to give it a refresh to keep it looking good and, most importantly, safe for the children who use it.

Unfortunately the lads suffered their first defeat in the league to Lindley Swifts ARLFC . With 5 minutes to go it could have gone either way with the lads trailing by just 2 points but an interception meant that Lindley came away with the win. Onto to shawcross next week at home. ⚫⚪💪
