Big congratulations to Poonam on her blue belt.

She’s been training for several years now, has stepped up and competed many times, and has also been helping out with the kids’ classes. She’s put a lot into her jiu-jitsu already, both for herself and for the team.

This promotion is very well deserved. The blue belt brings new challenges, but she’s ready for them.

Firstly, we see your leadership as you bring your son up through the ranks in our junior programme and we can't wait to see how far you both can go. Your consistency and dedication set an excellent example. I'm sure there's no competition at home for who holds the highest belt 👀

Secondly, your years of hard work and perseverance mean you have acquired the skills necessary to beat your peers in competition at white belt before you levelled up. That's got to feel good too!
