We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of our club’s true legends, Keith Knowles.

A devoted Centralian through and through, Keith made an extraordinary contribution to the club, amassing over 1,000+ appearances, a club record that still stands today. In recognition of his dedication and character, the club proudly named a trophy in his honour, awarded each year to the Clubman of the Year, an accolade that perfectly reflected the qualities Keith embodied for so many years.

Keith’s impact went far beyond the pitch. Those who attended the club’s centenary celebrations will remember the many stories shared about his playing days, as well as the immense respect he earned from teammates, opponents, and supporters alike. Many of us were also privileged to share the field with Keith and can personally attest to the admiration spoken of during that centenary celebration.

Keith served this club with unwavering commitment and integrity, leaving behind a legacy that will not be forgotten.
