Hey there Yorkshire dancers. Hope you're all enjoying the cooler weather now that the furnace of last week has eased up. Venues will be open this week as normal 💃🕺

Just wanted to fill you in on a National Campaign that is aiming to make more people aware of Ceroc and hopefully attract new dancers.

The brain child of one of the Franchisees this campaign is being managed by Head Office and is called 'Desk to DanceFloor' showing how we transform from our 'day persona' into our 'evening persona'.

There will be videos released weekly which we, across Ceroc, will share. I would really appreciate it if as many of you as possible would also share these on your own Facebook timelines to help us really get the word out.

The vids/posters show people from all walks of life in a day/evening situation.

Which brings me to my 2nd request.

Do any of you work in a place with a notice board? NHS canteen, hairdresser, Cafe, Community Hub, Gym, a corporate office etc It would be very much appreciated if could possibly put a poster up for us.
Please feel free to take one from us if you have somewhere you think they might be seen 💃🕺

Even better though we'll give you a FREE ENTRY if you do the following...
Put a poster up at work or local venue.
Take a photo of you next to the poster.
Post that photo to your Facebook profile and tag saying how you go from the desk to dancefloor.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that James Gibson has passed away, aged 71.

James and Jill (nee Ball) were well-known faces at Ceroc Yorkshire for many years, and those of you who've been dancing with us for a while will no doubt remember them fondly. They had been living in Harrogate before relocating to Devon, where James passed away on Wednesday.

Our thoughts are with Jill and the family at this difficult time.
