And with that, the summer break is over! Due to a special friendly at the weekend, tomorrow we welcome Normanton Knights ARLFC to Hunslet for a match under the lights!

🚨🚨 siddal gala 🚨🚨

Some brilliant rugby on show today throughout the squad. With the team being undefeated today in all their games

Today saw us travel over to siddal for our last gala of the summer and we came across some tough opponents. My team consisted of Jacob Theo b who worked hard in attack and defence using his pace to his advantage, Laurie who bossed the play and chopped everything in his path, Heidi with her strong charge runs making it hard for defenders to stop her. Jacob n making some great yards in attack and some great tackles, Joshua used his size and strength to his advantage by drowning defenders off of him, Caleb same using his power and pace for his darting runs and defence, Isaac made some great drive challenging the defence and making great tackles aswel and xander who bosses his touchline really well, making sure no one got past him! Some brilliant rugby by all the kids and to win all 5 games tops it off, up the hunslet 💙💛

Today saw us travel to Siddal where we played some good teams, Siddal, Locklane, Elland and Shawcross and Birkenshaw. My team consisted of Jed, Bjorn, Malaki, Brownie, Roman, Tobias, Reni, Freddie. Our first two game saw us face Siddal and Locklane where we showed some amazing attacking skills and our defence was on fire, we drew the first game and won the next 4 quite comfortably with every single player stepping up and playing as team, I couldn't be more proud of team the way we defended was amazing 💙💛💙

Tomorrow, the squad will travel across to Siddal to take part in our final summer gala. It promises to be a fantastic test for our players and a great opportunity to showcase the incredible Under 9's team we have.
