We continue our pre season schedule tomorrow night for game number 4 as we welcome Wyke Wanderers to South Leeds Stadium.

*Please note the game will be played on the training pitch again.*

Our trip to Steeton ends all square. Manager Nathan Cartman gave us the lead as we headed into half time a goal up. Steeton got their equaliser in the second half but another good run out for the lads with us just 2 weeks out from our season opener.

Our YAL Team were defeated heavily at Bradford Park Avenue last night.

We fielded 2 teams in each half with plenty of minutes for new faces and opportunities for some of the young lads at the club.

The First Team head into pre season game 3 as we travel to Steeton AFC tomorrow. It’s another good test for the lads and an opportunity for more minutes for everybody against the North West Counties outfit.

Our YAL First team are back in action tomorrow night as we travel to Bradford Park Avenue Reserves for our opening friendly.

The lads are 5 weeks out from their debut season at Step 7 and after a couple of sessions back in training this week the lads are straight into the action.

We end another week of pre season and our first week of fixtures.

Fantastic performance this afternoon as we pick up a brilliant win. Much more settled and professional performance today and we definitely righted some of the wrongs from Thursday night, still plenty to work on but that’s what these games are for.

Really good to put it into practice and work on things against a very good opposition in Campion.

Next up we are straight back into another tough test tomorrow afternoon when we welcome NCEL Premier Division side Campion AFC.

**PLEASE NOTE The game will be played on the training pitch, not the main pitch. Located behind the sand court and the 5 aside pitches at the back of the complex. **

Our first pre season friendly ends in defeat at Tadcaster Albion.

We led at the break 1-0 but plenty of rotation from both sides and we just couldn’t reach the levels of the first half in a one sided second half.

Result aside, good to get the first game back out of the way but plenty to learn from tonight against a good side.
