Welcome to the Yorkshire Emeralds hurling club. We are the only hurling club in Leeds and represent the whole of Yorkshire.
We train most weeks from Spring to Autumn in either Leeds or York. If you are interested in playing please contact us! Yorkshire Emeralds were founded in 2010 by a small dedicated group of hurlers who were keen to play the game in Leeds. Leeds hurling clubs have been thin on the ground in recent years and we're sure there's never been a hurling club in Leeds to cater to the needs of the many Irish

Round 3 of the league complete. On a roasting day we started with a defeat to Glasgow was followed up by victories over Manchester and Warrington.
Rd 4 is on August 1st

A competitive day's hurling in Liverpool for Yorkshire Emeralds Hurling Club
The Emerald's lined out in two competitive games against Fullen Gaels and Liverpool Wolfe Tones in the Lancashire GAA senior league.

Major club milestone today with two Phelans on the same hurling pitch! Dad Colm showing Jake how it's done by bagging a goal in the first game. Colm continues his run of scoring a goal in every season the club has been in existence (2010).
Training continues on Mondays at Scott Hall Road Leeds. All abilities welcome.
