T20 Result

Last night the BCC T20 side got their campaign finally underway, after an abandoned fixture last month.

Hopton Mills were the visitors with stand in skipper Henry Rush taking reins.

Fireworks from the off saw us post a very competitive total of 244. Following that up with a controlled bowling display, saw the T20 side come out on top and take the 4 points.

Weekend Results

1st XI fell short on their travels against Batley, Sharoon Siraj made his 6th half century of the campaign.

2nd XI were beaten by fellow promotion challengers Morley.

Meanwhile, a standout performance by Josh Chapman, who took 4-31 while bowling out for 154, saw the 3rd XI take the only victory of the weekend and the full 20 points.

It’s derby day this weekend!

1st Xi make the trip to mount pleasant to take on local rivals Batley. The reverse fixture was a cracker and we’re hoping to see the same outcome to go 5 on the bounce. Few changes , Rushy back in for DC, Malik keeps his spot and Teale included to make the 11. Cyrus away with seam bowling partner Boyden.

2nd Xi host top of the table Morley in what should be a great competition between the 2 teams currently fighting for top spot. Talisman drake keeps the skipper role, we see some notable to the squad for Alex’s 11 including DC slotting back in alongside in form Javed. Isles, Faizan & Peters also included. Matchball sponsor is loyal supporters Ben & Stacey Chapman.

Support is welcomed, Club open from 12pm and showing the England game.
