We are thrilled to announce that our student Betsy Raj has been invited by the International Dance Teachers Association to represent the IDTA at the Theatre Dance Council International Scholarships in August in conjunction with the TDCI British Championships. 🇬🇧 🇬🇧🇬🇧
This is such an honour to be invited as only one candidate represents each genre from each dance society, so an extremely special invite for this prestigious day.
Betsy will represent the IDTA in the Senior Tap Section. 🎭

We know how much this means to you Betsy too, after years of participating in the IDTA Theatre Dance Awards and being the recipient of many awards and not just in the tap genre. This invitation is the icing on the cake. 💟

We will look forward to watching you on Sunday 2nd August, which is the 9th day of British. 🇬🇧

At this competition it was ADS team D E and F section that entered, but not all our full D to F ‘s
It has been a long, long weekend finishing late nights, so full on applause dancers for all your amazing work displayed and again to parents for keeping the dancers costumed amazingly and generally being a helpful team. 👏👏👏👏👏
Today the team worked together and even fit a car park birthday sing a long in 🎶🎉😃
Some cracking talent too at this festival and also a very friendly atmosphere, along with a good stage to dance on.😃

Wow these young competitors have really worked their socks off this weekend. ⭐️🤣⭐️
We entered baby A B and C section dancers into this festival as the D E F dancers were at another festival (more news on that later)…
At this competition we had quite a few children dancing new solos and some dancing for the first time, but it has been lovely to see so many improvements in this age group. All working to deliver as best as they can be. 🎉🎉
A special shout out to the parents here too, from all the dancers that performed as they had to be self sufficient Saturday whilst teaching was on.

It has been a brilliant day at CYD? Nottingham Regional event today. ⭐️

All our dancers have taken multiple classes in different styles and just simply had the best time dancing. 💕
Quite a few of our dancers have been awarded with CYD? prizes, their talents were spotted by the guest teachers who delivered a variety of classes throughout the day. The teachers then gave out the awards at the end of each class. ⭐️⭐️

After successful assessments for Drew and Harry we are extremely pleased for both these dancers who have been offered another year of training at the Royal Ballet School.
Drew will continue as a Mid Associate.
Harry will embark on his final year as a Junior Associate.

Our little juniors Felicity, Emily, Elsie and Amaiya all gained places on the RB zoom online programme after auditioning.
