Thank you for celebrating 25 Years of West Leeds Activity Centre! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday to celebrate West Leeds Activity Centre's 25th anniversary.

It was fantastic to see so many young people and their families trying new outdoor adventures, building confidence and having fun throughout the day.

Special thanks to Sir John Battle, Councillors Andy Rontree, Kevin Ritchie, and Lou Cunningham, BARCA, Leeds Oral Health Team, Ormsheim Vikings, Breeze, our colleagues from Leeds City Council, and all our partners and supporters who helped make the event so memorable.

We've received lots of wonderful feedback from attendees, which is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and teamwork that went into making the day such a success.

A very special thank you also goes to all the staff, volunteers, and helpers who worked behind the scenes and on the day itself. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and support made a huge difference, and we couldn't have done it without you.

We're incredibly passionate about helping young people thrive through outdoor adventure, and it was fantastic to celebrate this milestone with our community.

Come and celebrate our 25th Birthday with a fun filled family afternoon!

West Leeds Activity Centre (formerly the LAZER Centre) is pleased to invite you to our 25th Birthday celebrations on Tuesday 25 August 2026.

Activities for children aged 7 and over will include:
🧗 Climbing
🔥 Bushcraft
🏹 Combat Archery
💦 Waterslide
🎈 Giant Inflatable
🙌 Leap of Faith
🏃‍♂️ Assault Course
🛻 Pedal Go Karts

These activities are suitable for children aged 7 and over, or those taller than 1m. A treasure hunt will also be available for younger visitors to enjoy with their family. Younger children are welcome to attend free of charge, but please book them a ticket so we can register their attendance.

Nb. Please note there is a chance you might not be able to take part in all activities owing to the numbers on the day and the fact that this is a taster drop in event. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to take part in all activities.

Gates open 12noon.

Activities will begin at 12.30pm.

Please arrive by 12 noon to take part in a group celebration marking our 25th anniversary.

🅿️Parking on site is available for Blue Badge holders only. Please do not park on Lenhurst Avenue. Visitors are encouraged to use Armley Ridge Road and other nearby streets where parking is available.
