EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 🇪🇺

A huge congratulations to Harry, Jonas, Jack and the rest of Team GB 🇬🇧, as well as Ronan, representing Luxembourg 🇱🇺, on their competitions at the European Championships in Zagreb, Croatia 🇭🇷‼️

In qualifications, Jonas and Harry played an important role in helping Great Britain qualify in 3rd place for the Team Final. Jonas also finished an impressive 19th in the All-Around, with standout performances on Vault and High Bar.

Harry successfully qualified for three apparatus finals - Floor, Rings and Vault 🔥

Jack competed as an individual specialist, gaining valuable experience at his first senior major championship. A particular highlight was an excellent 13.500 on Floor 👏

Ronan has been making his return from injury, so it was fantastic to see him back competing on a major championship floor. We’re sure he’ll take plenty of valuable experience from the competition and be motivated to keep pushing towards future competitions 💪

In the finals, a brilliant 14.300 on Floor saw Harry claim 🥉 BRONZE in an incredibly competitive field of gymnasts ⭐️ What a performance and what an achievement!

Harry also placed an impressive 8th on Rings and 6th on Vault.

In yesterday’s Team Final, Jonas and Harry, alongside their incredible teammates, secured first place 🥇 🏆 in a tense three up, three to count final. It went right down to the very last routine, where Harry delivered a phenomenal floor routine to seal the victory! 🤯👏

A huge congratulations to all the gymnasts, their personal coaches - especially our very own Tom, Dave and Andy - and the National Coaching Team on this fantastic achievement.

European Championships 🇪🇺 - Qualifications & AA Final

U18 5-Way 🇬🇧

Congratulations to Lucas and the GB Team 🇬🇧 who took GOLD 🥇 at the U18 5-way match against Germany 🇩🇪 Italy 🇮🇹 France 🇫🇷 and Switzerland 🇨🇭

Lucas delivered some great routines to support the team, with a highlight personal best on high bar!

🔴 Apparatus Finals 🔴

What a way to finish the Commonwealth Games! A huge congratulations to Luke and Elliot on their fantastic performances in the apparatus finals.

🏆 Day 1 belonged to Luke, who was crowned Commonwealth Floor Champion with a superb performance. He then backed it up with an excellent 5th-place finish on Rings, rounding off a brilliant day of competition.

💪 Day 2 saw Elliot produce an outstanding performance on Parallel Bars, finishing 7th overall. A small error on the dismount proved costly, but his routine showcased the incredible quality and potential he has on this apparatus. The future is certainly bright!

🥈 Luke returned to the competition floor one final time for the Vault Final, producing two exceptional vaults to secure the Commonwealth silver medal and bring his Games to a memorable close.

That wraps up an incredible Commonwealth Games for all of our gymnasts and coaches. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone who represented Leeds Gymnastics Club, both on and off the competition floor. Their dedication, resilience and performances have been outstanding throughout.

Wow, what a night!🥉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿✨

From non-travelling reserve on Thursday to Commonwealth Games bronze medallist on Saturday… what an incredible 48 hours for Shanna-Kae!

Huge congratulations to Team England on an outstanding performance in a fiercely competitive event. Every gymnast was brilliant and fought until the very end. You should all be incredibly proud.

After a last minute call up, Shan travelled to Glasgow to join the England team ahead of Saturday’s team competition. With such short notice, she sadly missed podium training, meaning her very first experience on the competition floor came during the touch warm-up.

Competing only in the final rotation meant Shan had a long wait before making her Commonwealth Games debut. To add to the pressure, the wrong floor music was initially played, leading to another delay before the correct music was ready.

Despite everything, Shan delivered a fantastic routine. The crowd were incredible, getting right behind her and creating an unforgettable atmosphere that made her debut even more special.

Shan, we couldn’t be prouder of you. Throughout this journey, you have remained professional, hardworking and a wonderful teammate. Representing England at the Commonwealth Games was a dream come true, and to leave with a bronze medal is the icing on the cake 💙✨

🚨Men’s Qualifications & Team Final🚨

What a day in the Glasgow International Arena! 🤩 Huge congratulations to Luke, Connor, Elliot, Henry, and Harry for leaving it all out there and competing for the first time at the Commonwealth Games. Team England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 claimed a fantastic silver medal 🥈, with Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 finishing 4th and Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 in 6th.

Finals & Highlights⭐️

All-Around Final (Sunday): Luke and Elliot secured their spots, with Harry stepping up as the first reserve!

Apparatus Finals: Luke booked his place in Floor, Rings, and Vault, while Elliot locked in his spot on Parallel Bars.

We are so proud of every single gymnast and coach. On to the finals! 💪✨

Our advanced gymnastics camps are perfect for gymnasts who are ready to push their skills further this summer.

Monday & Tuesday

These sessions are suitable for gymnasts who have been invited or who already train for 2 hours per week.

A focused camp for building confidence, developing technique and progressing skills in a fun, supportive environment.
