Who’s seen a difference in the course compared to this time last week?

Whilst the drought was great for golfers, it wasn’t great for greenkeepers but with more rain due in the coming days, it’ll freshen up the course nicely.

It doesn’t get much better than this!

💦 We’ve had as much rain over the past few days, than we’ve had over the past few months but on this occasion we won’t moan.

It’s exactly what the course needed and we know our greenkeepers are extremely grateful.

☔️ Forecast is still a little unsettled over the next 7 days but there’s plenty of opportunity for golf, you may just have to pack your umbrella this time.

🌡️ Possibly the hottest Leeds Cup on record was won via a play off by Jordan Loft, the first round leader but it wasn’t straight forward.

After an opening 63, Thursday presented a challenge with temperatures reaching 35 degrees.

Rhys Nevin who carded a 64 in the second round birdied the last to force his way into a two-way playoff.

Well done Jordan, two fantastic rounds in testing conditions
