For Leeds professionals who hate busy gyms: We help you feel more energised and look leaner, with coaching that fits your diary šŸ‹ļøā€ā™‚ļø

You probably don’t need to train 4 or 5 times a week.

Could you?

Sure.

But that isn’t really the question.

The question is whether you need to, particularly if you’ve already got a demanding job, family commitments and a social life competing for the same time.

We’d rather see someone do 2 properly coached sessions every week for the next 6 months than spend 3 weeks trying to follow a ā€œperfectā€ 5-day plan before work gets busy and the whole thing disappears.

Start with the minimum effective amount.

Get those sessions in the diary.

Remove as many decisions as possible.

Then, if doing more would genuinely help, add it later.

More isn’t automatically better if you can’t fit it into your life.

You went away on holiday during August.
You were out of routine for a bit.
Now you're panicking thinking you lost all your progress.
You're planning on going all out in September.

We're here to tell you absolutely haven't lost your progress
And there's no need to do anything extra in September

Its not possible to lose your progress in a couple weeks.

So just get back into the routine you were in prior holidays and you'll get back into the swing of things again real quick.

Heres Elsie talking about her recent 2 week holiday and why taking a break is important, and not to go all out the next month to make up for it !!

If your fitness routine only works during a quiet week, it probably doesn’t work particularly well.

It’s easy to plan 4 or 5 sessions when you’re looking at an empty calendar.

Then the week actually starts.

A meeting runs over, you get home later than expected, something comes up with the family, Friday involves dinner rather than the gym, and suddenly the plan has fallen apart.

For most of the busy professionals we coach, I’d rather build around the week that actually happens.

Maybe that’s 2 coached sessions, fixed in the diary, with somebody expecting you and the training already planned when you arrive.

Then if you’ve got more time and want to do more, great.

But you don’t need the whole thing to fall apart every time life gets busy.

September is around the corner, which normally means being told it’s time to ā€œget back on trackā€

We’re not sure there needs to be a ā€œtrackā€

Life gets busy, holidays happen, or work ramps up, and there’ll also naturally be times where fitness gets more attention

That’s all okay

The useful skill isn’t being able to give fitness 100% all year. It’s having a version of it that can change with everything else going on around you

So if September feels like a good opportunity to get some structure back, don’t immediately assume that means training 5 times a week and overhauling your food

Maybe it starts with 2 sessions in the diary šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Do those consistently

Then decide whether you actually need more

14/08/2026

You can’t commit to a time, so you don’t commit to coaching.

That’s why many busy professionals in Leeds are staying stuck with their fitness

But your schedule isn’t the problem āŒ

It’s that you’ve been told to ā€œbe consistentā€ to see results, but never had that explained

Consistency doesn’t = same time, same day every week

It means having things in place to make sure you do something

Whether that’s on a different day, at a different time, or something completely different to your usual session

That’s the level of flexibility we build in to help our clients stay consistent, and become successful with their goals

Fitness discipline is great when you have it

But for many busy professionals, it’s built over time

Not a given from day dot

Here’s how we create structure so that our clients can build discipline:

1. Implement systems
Build a default plan of fixed session times, pre-decided meals etc. where possible. Remove daily decisions and there’s nothing to ā€œdisciplineā€ yourself into

2. Design the environment
Sessions booked like meetings, get kit laid out early, know the easy to grab options. Environment removes the gap that discipline would fill

3. Accountability to others
A session they’ve paid for, a coach setting it up, others in the session expecting them. External structure holds when internal discipline dips

Are you still relying on motivation and discipline, or do you have structures in place that make those unnecessary?
