The Ammers are back in action tomorrow as Yorkshire Ammers SU FC travel to Lepton for another important fixture.

The lads will be looking to put in another strong performance on the road, and we want your support from the sidelines!

Our 7th Pre-season match with another squad of 19 which included 2 Debuts & 4 players making their second appearance.

In the First half both teams tried to impose their dominance through periods of possession & quick attacks.

We probably created the clearer chances in the early stages of the half. Theo slipped in Seb who just missed & The Medics Keeper went on to make more good saves.

Defensively we managed to deal with any Medics attacks even when we looked stretched we managed to recover well.

We managed to break the deadlock via a
Freekick towards the end of the first half.
Theo had a shot on goal which the Keeper couldn’t hold onto & Omar was there to pounce & score! (His second goal contribution in two games)

HT - 0-1

Plenty of positives at HT along with Plenty of personnel changes.

Second Half

We extended the lead through another Freekick. Tobias won the Freekick.
He got up & had a shot on goal again the keeper couldn’t hold onto the shot!

Jahrell was impressive throughout the second half with a number of impressive dribbles this led to him getting tripped in the box. He got himself up & confidently
Scored the penalty.

Then it was the Lamek show towards the end of the game. In his second appearance he scored two wonderful goals from the edge of the 18 yard box
One with his right foot & one with the left.
