A 20-point weekend for the Senior Teams last weekend! 💙🏏

At Green Lane, after losing the toss (again... 😅), the 1st Team were surprisingly asked to bat first, which proved to be an excellent toss to lose. A fantastic opening partnership from Jamie Stockton (97) and Abdul Sarwary (41) got us off to a great start, before Ben Tantum’s superb 62 helped push the Parish to 260 all out.

Another excellent performance with the ball and in the field saw us restrict Oulton to 179/8 from their 40 overs, securing an 81-run victory. Sarwary picked up 3 wickets, Brayson and Stoddart claimed 2 apiece, and Bedford added 1.

Over at Thorpe Willoughby, the 2nd Team also batted first. It was a shaky start with a few early wickets, but then skipper Dave Steel (93) and Luke Walker (82) put the innings back on track. Tom Wilkinson’s unbeaten 40 helped us post an excellent 270/7 from our 40 overs.

Another strong bowling display followed as we bowled Thorpe out for 130 in the 33rd over. Lottie Laycock, Johnson Thomas, and Louis Walker all picked up 2 wickets each.
